Gold prices are still trading close to their previous levels without any significant change. If the price remains below the upper boundary levels of the channel at 2005 and stays below it, there will be a strong opportunity for selling with targets reaching 1980 as the first target. However, if the price breaks through these levels and closes above them, then the likelihood of an upward trend and increase in prices is higher.
