Les procureurs de FTX demandent la prison de Bankman-Fried pour "falsification de témoin"

Federal prosecutors in the FTX cryptocurrency exchange crash case have asked the examining judge to revoke the bail of founder Sam Bankman-Fried, who they allege the young billionaire violated the terms of his release and repeatedly tampered with witnesses in the case.

Prosecutors said: “What the accused should not have done is what he has now done over and over again, seeking to influence witnesses and interfere with the trial through harassment and defamation.

The details of the move stem from Bankman-Fried’s leaking of the private diaries of his ex-girlfriend, Carolyn Ellison, who was a chief executive of an FTX hedge fund and had pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges and is cooperating with prosecutors to sue Bankman-Fried.

If the judge approves the prosecution’s request, Sam Bankman Fried will be returned to prison, after the authorities in the Bahamas had handed him over to their American counterpart after his arrest following the collapse of the cryptocurrency trading platform, and the SBF faces multiple charges of fraud and money laundering.
