Elon Musk borrowed $1 billion from SpaceX to finance his acquisition of Twitter
According to a Wall Street Journal report, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk borrowed $1 billion from his company in the same month he acquired Twitter in October 2022.
The loan was backed by some of Musk’s shares in SpaceX, and was repaid in full in November 2022.
It is noteworthy that Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion, making it the largest acquisition of a media company in history.
This information raises questions about Musk’s ability to manage two giant companies at the same time.
